As founder of General Public, he leverages his expertise across marketing, strategy, product development, brand building, digital, communications, and creative strategy. With a career spanning South Africa, Singapore, and Canada, Cliff has worked with industries ranging from biotech and healthcare to sports, banking, CPG, food and travel. Clients have included Nike, Kellogg’s, Nestle, Unilever and Diageo, as well as other global and national companies. His work has earned accolades from Cannes, London International Awards, New York Festivals amongst others. CEO & Content Director Colleen Thompson Colleen Thompson is a content creator, writer, editor, and photographer with a diverse portfolio that spans print, digital, and client-driven publications across the US and Canada. A recipient of the prestigious 2019 Folio Award for Editorial Excellence. Colleen has also been a judge for the Eddie & Ozzie Publishing Awards (2020–2024). In 2020, she published her debut book, Monkey Weddings & Summer Sapphires, adding author to her growing list of achievements. Inducted as a Dame in Les Dames d'Escoffier International and a board member of the North Carolina Chapter for 2024-2025, Colleen's passion for food, wine, and culture runs deep. In 2024, she was honored with an induction into Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the International Association of Gastronomy. She is also a wine sommelier.
